Is what a few people need to do...

I'll be the first to admit that i was a right #$%$ for a while here...said some really disgusting horrid #$%$ about people who didnt deserve it.

Can explain my actions until the cows come home, but that wont change anything. I did what i did at the time for my reasons.

The thing is, what you saw here, during those rough times of my life, was not the real me. It was the actions of a father who was distressed, depressed, and going through one of the hardest things a man ever has to go through.

They were not things I am proud of.

But to see, 3 years after the fact, that people are still talking about, accusing me of still carying out actions like this today, is saddening. I'm NOT that person anymore.

Yes i have the odd dig at people here that i have history with. I wont deny that... But really, some people just need to let things go....especially those who DONT know me, DIDNT see what happened, and are only going on what they have been told...

Here are my shoes....walk in them, then judge me.

Goodnight all :)

*Yawn* I've seen this show before. Several times.

Darn reruns.... the TV (and Yahoo boards) is full of them.

The Boy Who Cried Wolf comes to mind.

For you Brock - something I say to people at times...

"Don't judge me for my past, I don't live there anymore"

If people can't accept that, it becomes there problem.

My two cents -

some people (generally the ones that you hurt with your words) doubt your sincerity and i'm not sure what you could possibly do to change that.

people don't do 'letting go' very well around here - sometimes that includes you.

........................................................................

It is called being responsible and accountable for your actions..Only a self centred PIG would would expect others to own the problem.
Brocks BS rant will appeal to all those who have abused other but wish for forgiveness and goodwill from others..TOO BAD it dont work that way .

Merry Xmas

Plenty have shown compassion towards Brock and his annual Xmas  apologies in the past..
I doubt any poster would believe this pathetic cry for redemption

For anyone, can't rewrite your history here ..can only change what you do or say from this day on.....genuine affirmation of letting go will only be demonstrated over time and will undoubtedly be resisted in varying degrees by posters in the mb community here...good test in strength of character to maintain your new path I guess..........

Kudos for the admission of being a total prixz in the pst though.

He could have  just taken the arrogant stance as others have, ignoring  the past issues and projecting the responsiblity onto others..
This attitude of "if they cant get over it then it is their problem" is the most self centred, selfish attitude an individual can display..Our jails are filled with people who live by this motto.

The problem with trying to perfect a change in oneself when they remain in a community / society that hasn't changed, is that they will continually be reminded of past events, which is turn will raise their heckles and repeat performances of the behaivour they detest in themselves will keep rising.

I speak from my own experience.

real inner change doesnt require that people around you change.

its called inner strength
not outer strength.
